November Gratitude Challenge: Day 5

Why do I keep waiting until I am throughly exhausted before writing out my gratitude for the day? Finding what I am grateful for each day has bee such a blessing. Before I would just go to bed worn out, but I have been going to bed thankful. It is making such a difference in my attitude.

Today I am thankful for conversations with my dad. I called him after a long day at work and just vented. I complained about everything under the sun for my 10 minute drive home and then apologized when it was time to get off the phone. He told me that I can call him and vent anytime I need to. It was just what I needed to hear. Sometimes its hard to put on a front that everything is okay, when it really isn’t.

I know that I can’t see or talk to my dad everyday, but I am beyond thankful that no matter what he is there for me. He always answers the phone excited to talk to me, no matter how busy he is! I love you dad.

Challenge:

Who is your one person that has your back no matter what? Call or text them and let them know how much they mean to you! Much love, Brandi
